
BASE is a brand new semi-private strength and conditioning studio gym here, in Cluj-Napoca. We provide trainings held by experienced, passionate coaches. We encourage you to work out and discover yourself, accessing your inner power and strength while you're at it.
Our very most important purpose is creating an active community of people who share the same missions and passions. For us, the most important one is physical activity.
We want to teach our community that there's no such thing as negotiating with exercise. It's something for which you will have to set your calendar and, according to the trainer meetings, make the effort of showing up. Remember, your body doesn't care if your mind isn't feeling motivated - Appetite comes with eating.
Even though we could pull out all the data about how sticking to a schedule helps improve your mental health and stability along with many other benefits, we bet you know that already. If not, be rest assured - we'll let you know.

Head Coach and Co-Owner of BASE - Barbell Club
He's an ex-Junior World champion and Senior European Karate Champion for the World Union of Karate-Do Federations (WUKF).
Raul is one of the nicest coaches you'll ever have. His expertise comes from 7 years of sweaty trainings and achievements after achievements.

IULIA
Coach
Co-founder of the first women-only running club in Cluj, certified PT for over 6 years and in the pursuit of becoming a Strength & Conditioning Coach, she has the tools to guide you in your wellness journey.
Her main mission is to teach the integration of movement as part of your life, while respecting the unity of the mind, body & soul.

ISTVÁN
Chiropractor
As he discovered the benefits of chiropractic, István started studying it and now he's been working as a chiropractor for 2 years. Besides that, he's a multiple fighting champion, as well as a Crossfit fan. He's now building his path towards kinesiotherapy.

Andrei
Physical Therapist and Coach
Is a physiotherapist and personal trainer, former rugby player and a great sports enthusiast. Based on his personal experience, he knows that in addition to movement, good recovery is also very important in order to achieve balance.
Andrei has 2 years of experience in sports recovery, working closely with the players of the U Cluj Women’s Handball team. He offers a variety of services: sports, therapeutic and relaxation massages, physical therapy and personalized training. Together with Andrei you can create a treatment plan to help you improve your mobility, strength, endurance, prevent injuries, and even treat existing ones.
